SCAMMM DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! we couldn’t find the location and I called the number and he said “Please text me” and I texted him about the location and he asked to book the appointment online for a reservation, so we paid $200 and then contacted him again and he said we need to pay him $500 MORE for the deposit. TOTAL SCAM, there is no jet ski and if you paid him in any way, call your bank! he has your card information!! so rude and he has gotten arrested before!!
The vests were nasty, and they took a picture that we couldn’t get unless we gave a 5star review which I won’t leave because of lack of communication and responses being nice nasty but the guy was cool. After they called and canceled our 11a pushing us back to 1:30p When I called yesterday to ask about the ID and wavier because it said they should be done 24hrs before online. And was told I should wait until today. Then get a call about them not having an ID 4mins before 9a. Telling me 9a is the deadline. I told him I could send it now and was told no I don’t have enough time to send it. I’ll have to take a later time. Even though I was literally taking the picture while on the phone. And I was never informed the ID had to be sent 2hrs before until they called to cancel.
Sam was extremely helpful, went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. I'd definitely recommend doing business with these guys. Friendly and highly professional.
Made a same day reservation online for 1 Jet Ski for $144. I called to confirm and they told me I needed to pay an additional $45 for insurance + $25 modification fee + gratuity. In total it was $247 for 1 hour double rider jet ski. They also require signing waivers and emailing them photos of IDs at least 2 hours before reservation, otherwise they will reschedule you. Their website doesn't stop you from making an incorrect reservation that meets their requirements and it feels on purpose so they can justify adding modification fees. Communication wasn't good and it wasn't clear when they will arrive at the meetup point. I had to call twice to confirm. They refused take pictures using our personal phones, and the pictures they did took on their phone were never sent because we wouldn't give them a 5 star review on the spot. We expected much better service after prepaying gratuity.
Update: Owner has responded stating they have attempted to reach out to me. Yes they continue to bribe with the pictures they took in return for a positive review. Unprofessional service, so downgrading from 2 stars to 1 star.
I wish I would’ve read the reviews before going. This guy is very sketchy and has a bad attitude. When our gps originally took us to their office which is the address provided, he was very rude in directing us to where we should be, hanging up the phone in our face. He also attempted to give attitude stating “if you’d look up im right here in front of you on the phone” which wasn’t even us. He was also late to dropping off the jetskis and then proceeded to talk for 30 minutes having us in the hot burning sun. Most might assume he was telling very important rules but no. It was three rules and the rest was rambling. Which caused us to not even get on the jetskis until 4:00pm when appt was for 3:30pm. Afterwards he asked for us to give him two 5 star google reviews stating he gets a commission for each good review he receives. I did not plan on giving him a 5 star, but I did ask him for his name so that I could leave a review and he refused to give his name. He then proceeded to ask us to pull out our phones so he could show us how to do the reviews. When I stated I knew how to do the review already he still attempted to tap my phone to give himself a 5 star review. He attempted to ask my bf if he had his phone or left it in the car to do the same when he noticed he didn’t pull out his phone. Overall, jetskis ride good, but he makes the experience uncomfortable. Will not recommend or return.
im upset i cant respond to his comment but see how he says we were suppose to get a confirmation 2 hrs before our booking, how were re suppose to get that when we booked after 2:00pm for a reservation at 3:30p? So again thats on you, not us you knew the address provided was not the correct address and the correct address is in the confirmation which we didn't receive. If you didn't think of that again on you, you know your business we don’t. learn accountability. Its not always everybody else’s fault
BE CAREFUL. this guy is very sketchy. Meeting point was at a hotel lobby. He got there later than the reservation time. After the rental. 2 sheriffs pulled up and actually detained him!! Crazy experience. He returned my deposit but he charges $25 for modifying my booking (crazy i know) he also charges a “gratuity fee” that’s included in the contract so READ AND BE CAREFUL. After the whole bad experience he refused to refund the “gratuity” fee which is pretty unfair. Will not be returning. Sheriff calls him the “scam artist”. Also he can be very aggressive as he was yelling at the cops
In the beginning I thought this was a good company. The customer service was not professional, it wasn’t what I expected (rude attitude, ) when questioned it’s almost like you are trapped in going forward with the transaction. The information versus the experience. Once you make your payment and find out their is are additional fees either pay the fees or lose your money (entrapment). I will never use this company again. There are several pending transactions for the same amount with hidden fees that was not discussed or disclosed prior to reservation. PLEASE BEWARE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!SCAM….

There were several additional fees that I explained to you that wasn’t forthcoming prior to renting the jet ski. This is common practice from your company as I reviewed the other customers reviews to see if I was the only one experiencing your poor customer service. Several comments reflect the same strong hold of “if you want to cancel you won’t get your money back” this is typical behavior, forcing someone to take your service or lose their money. My family and I came here to enjoy our Sunday on the beach like everyone else, we should not have to be torn with losing our money or riding unsafe equipment , being charged unforeseen fees, disrespectful demeanor. We are customers if their is a discrepancy, as a business owner you should at least realize your online service is not self explanatory, user friendly. Which gives you the opportunity to make up rules despite of what your website says. You even had the audacity to tell me and my family that “ if their jet ski turn over you would not come and get us quote “ you will be just stuck out there “. What kind of customer service is that? Please explain, I’ll wait. We are experienced riders the equipment was in such poor condition, we kept it idled , sputtering and because we were afraid if the jet ski would turn over, and remember you said if we turned it over you weren’t coming to get us and you continued to remind us anything happened we will be financially responsible although we paid for deposits. Finally, at the end of our ride, you stood in our face basically forcing us to leave a review and telling us what to put in order to post our pictures. We did the review and once we check our charges it was not in alignment to what we were told. This is price gouging, against the consumer laws and your unprofessional tone was very condescending trying to provoke fear of we complained. You even referred to the another person who asked for your help as a dumb ass” what kind of customer service is that, with your atrocious management demeanor, I would never recommend you to anyone to Jet Ski of Houston . You never know who you are serving as a customer (dignitaries, lawyers, congressmen) be mindful of you contracts, the lack of verbiage, what you fail to explain and even audio that was captured. NOT EVERYONE ON YOUR REVIEWS WERE FALSE. Overall the unprofessionalism over the phone and the unknown modification fees is what done it for me. I cannot express enough how the deposit fee is optional however it’s mandatory to add during your reservation Also my Daughter reserved a single and got charged for a triple. We had an Option to book for 7 for 89.00 was available . Once it was submitted he says he has to reschedule under another rate because the website issue
